ARTIST RATES?

Starting September 1st, 2022 rates will be:

$200/hour

$150 minimum for projects under an hour

HOW DO I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

Booking announcements will be made on instagram.

Please use the booking tab and fill out a proposal. On the day books open, I will start to review and select projects to schedule. An email confirmation will be sent to those whose projects have been selected.

Due to the volume of submissions I am unable to take on all submitted projects at this time. As much as I would LOVE to tattoo everyone, my life/schedule doesn't allow enough time... I am trying to take on projects that I feel I'm the best fit for. If I'm unable to take on your project, please do not take this personally. Your idea is probably super awesome, I just might not be the one to make it happen.

WILL I SEE MY DESIGN PRIOR TO MY APPOINTMENT?

I do not send out designs prior to our appointment. You will see the design the day of. Minor changes or adjustments can be made at this time. Any major changes or redesigning will require a reschedule. This is why it is so important to provide as much information as possible when submitting your ideas. I also STRONGLY encourage sending reference photos ahead of time. This way I have a clear direction for style and can implement your ideas as you request.

WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT FOR? CAN I GET A REFUND IF I CAN'T MAKE THE APPOINTMENT?

Your deposit lets me know your serious, and holds your appointment slot. It also pays for my drawing time/acts as a cancellation fee if you cannot make the appointment. When you come in for your appointment, the deposit comes off the price of the tattoo.

You have 48 hour hours prior to your appointment to keep your deposit active for one reschedule. If you do not reach out in this time frame your deposit will be forfeited.

Deposits are nonrefundable.

DO YOU TAKE CARD?

My scheduling website will allow you to leave your deposit on your card. However, for your appointment you must bring cash. I will accept Venmo or Cash App under certain circumstances.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND WITH ME?

Yes! You may bring a guest to accompany you to your appointment.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?

A valid form of ID (drivers license, state ID, or passport), phone, and method of payment (Cash, Venmo, Cash app). It never hurts to bring a snack and a bottle of water.

You may also bring a distraction such as a book, headphones, etc.

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

You must eat a good meal prior to your appointment.

Drink plenty of water, I definitely encourage you to bring a bottle with you.

Wear dark colored, comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting ink on. I do my best to be as tidy as possible, but please don't wear your favorite outfit just in case.

If you have a decent amount of hair in the area to be tattooed you can shave prior to your appointment.

I am a chatty person, I love to talk through sessions and learn about you. If you would prefer not to do this, that's totally fine! You are always welcome to bring a distraction, a good book, head phones, an iPad to watch Netflix, you name it. If you do, or if you request, I will give you space to zone out.

THE AREA OF MY TATTOO IS NOT EASILY ACCESSED WITH REGULAR CLOTHING, WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? IS THERE PRIVACY?

If your tattoo is in an area (such as hip, sternum, ribs, etc) where clothing gets in the way, please wear something that helps me access this area and can keep you covered. Stretchy underwear or bikini bottoms that tie, are great for hip tattoos. Button up shirts are always great for backs and sternums.
I will always provide pasties for torso pieces where you may not be able to be fully covered during the process. We are in an open concept studio, we have privacy screens I can put up at any time to make you more comfortable. I will always do my best to ensure you are as comfortable as possible.

CAN I USE NUMBING CREAM?

Yes.

Certain areas can be more uncomfortable than others; Ribs, feet, hands, inner bicep by armpit, are all areas known to be more sensitive. Your body does start to naturally go numb once you're in the chair a while.

If you choose, you can help ease your discomfort by using numbing cream. I recommend topical products that contain 4% lidocain (Hush or Dr. Numb are reputable brands) to be used before the tattoo is started. Please read all of the instructions thoroughly before use. I also recommend doing a test patch prior to a full application, to ensure there are no adverse reactions.

In general the most common way to use numbing cream: Apply a very liberal amount to the area to be tattooed and wrap with plastic wrap 1 hour prior to your appointment time. Come to your appointment with the wrapping on and I will remove it before we begin.

I offer numbing spray (used once the skin is broken) as a part of my service for larger projects.

IS THERE ANY REASON I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO GET TATTOOED?

If you are visibly sunburnt, under the influence, pregnant or breast feeding, on certain medication such as blood thinners, or if you are sick.

Coming to your appointment under the influence is unacceptable and will result in a cancelled appointment and forfeit of deposit.

Coming in more than 20 minutes late without notice will result in a no-call no-show and forfeit of deposit.

Please do not schedule if you are knowingly pregnant or breast feeding. I do allow anyone who schedules, and then becomes pregnant, to use their deposit once they are no longer growing their bundle of joy.

In addition, if you have a vacation or plans where you will be directly in the sun or swimming (within 2-3 weeks of your appointment) it is not a good idea to have a fresh tattoo at that time.
